February 13, 2004.
Level C - (You must complete between 80 - 85 pts.)

____~3. BrainPop - Complete movie and quiz. Write a short summary of the movie. (5 pts)
____~4. Go to www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/glossary/gloss5/biome/ and complete the worksheet. (5 points)
____5. Complete activity on page B8 - B9 in your science book. (5 pts)
____6. Read chapters 1, 2, and 3 of unit B in your science book. Answer the questions on pages B13, B19, B31, B35, B39, B51, and B57. (15 pts)
____7. Complete News Broadcaster activity at the end of Unit B in your textbook. (5 pts)
____8. Complete Songwriter activity at the end of Unit B in your textbook. (5 pts)
____9. Plan a vacation to three biomes. Include where you would spend the night, what you would wear, eat, and activities. Also include pros and cons. (10 pts)
____10. Choose an animal from two biomes. Write a letter from one animal to the other animal. Include what the environment is like and adaptations needed to survive. (5 pts.)
____11. Compare and contrast two biomes. (5 pts)
____12. Complete biome packet. (10 points)
____13. Watch the video on biomes on the class computer. Complete worksheet. (5 points)
____14. Create a collage for each biome. Include pictures showing the climate, animals, and trees. (10 pts)
____* 15. Choose a book or article from the library. Summarize what it says and write a review
of it. (10 pts)
Level B (You must complete level C first. Turn in on Feb. 13, 2004 Choose one.)
1. Complete Game Inventor from the end of Unit B in your textbook.
2. In a shoe box, create a model of a biome. Write a short essay describing the objects in your
model and how they are related to the biome.
Level A (You must complete level B first. Turn in on Feb. 13, 2004 Choose one.)
1. Complete Playwriter from the end of Unit B in your textbook.
2. Create a Power Point slide show of at least 12 slides. Include all six biomes, plants and animals in each, and the climate of each.
